6/20/15 Workshop: “At Peace with Your Feelings-The Power of Emotional Choice”

Posted by:

Emotions give richness and meaning to life as well as fuel misery and conflict…they provide the bitter and sweet of human existence. This workshop will offer you a different perspective on how and why you experience feelings. We will explore taking “actual” responsibility and ownership for what you feel, thus providing you a viable skill set to be at peace with your feelings. Turn your feelings from liabilities (“I’m a victim”) into assests (“I can manage!”). You can decide how you want to feel.

There will be a spirited and energized interaction with participants attending this workshop. However, there will be peace at the end.

Peter Gallione has trained students, counselors and other individuals in the field of helping relationships for over 39 years. Peter is presently a consultant with a non-profit agency in Florida, training student interns working toward their degrees and licenses in Social Work and Psychology. He retired as the Substance Abuse Administrator for New Jersey’s Juvenile Justice Commission in 2007. He designed and implemented the statewide substance abuse treatment model for the Commission’s drug programs. Peter graduated from Glassboro State College in 1978 with a BA degree in Psychology.

The workshop will take place on Saturday, June 20, 2015 from 9:00am-12:00pm.  The cost for the 3-hour workshop is $35.00 per person.  Preregistration is required and can be done through this link (please note that your credit card will show “Plum Yoga” as the payee).
